Q: What does Second Act do?
A: Second Act’s primary focus is on women who have had breast cancer surgery.
We offer post-surgery recovery products, bras and breast forms to help women who have had a mastectomy, more limited breast conserving surgery or reconstruction. Our trained and certified mastectomy fitters can help you achieve your ideal shape and symmetry whether your surgery was recent or many years ago. We also offer those “nice to have” extras like swim suits and camisoles.
To better understand the process of meeting with a Certified Mastectomy Fitter and being fitted for post-breast surgery products check out “The Process; Your Next Steps” and our “Plan A Visit” pages. For information about insurance and what may be covered go to our “Insurance” page.

Q: Where are you located and how do I get there?
A: We are conveniently located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood and are easily accessible by car or public transportation. The CTA #76/Diversey bus stops at the corner of Lincoln and Diversey, just steps from our door. It also connects directly to the Diversey/Sheffield Brown Line El stop, just 3 blocks away, as well as the Blue Line and many north-to-south bus routes including the #8/Halsted, #9/Ashland, #22/Clark, #36/Broadway, #50/Damen, #151/Sheridan and #156/LaSalle buses. There is also ample street parking on Lincoln Avenue, but that does require the use of the parking pay box. You will need a credit card for that unless you have the app.
